Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have had unlawful charges taken from my account for years and have had enough. I am however scared that i wont be able to see it through to the end if i start a claim. or wont be able to afford any costs needed to proceed, or that Abbey will want my overdraft paid off, or cancel my debit card.Any support anyone can give would be welcome.
Michael you have presumed that the unlawful charges are less than 5K and in that case it is possible that the claimant would have to either break the claim into several claims or alternatively stump up for larger fees.
Just a thought.
