DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

it was my wifes who had the ccj in2013

the debt was a barclay loan

when the papers came i didnt know about it till it was too late

she had filled it in herself and sent it

next thing was a court order to pay the amount in full

it was left to me to try and arrange things

ie budget sheet to court

the one that was sent by the court was if anything vauge

it did not list much so stupid me we filled it in as their sheet

if i would have known what i know now

ie how to defend(thanks to the members here) most likely i would have got away with it.

Been looking at budget sheet template nat debt line also nedcab

and the list is huge of what to put down.

Question

is there anyway that you can query a ccj?

Hi Mystirio,

As this is a bank loan, any penalty charges they made for missed or late payments could be reclaimed with interest (compound interest as this is Barclays).

The effect of compound interest for older penalty charges can significantly affect what you owe.

Unless you have a/c statements for any period when penalties were charged, an SAR is the way forward.

:-)

It's not a request for data about a specific account - It's a request for all data that the bank holds about you.

But it does need to be signed by the requesting person.
