I am moving back to the UK after having lived there in 2013 for a while. My dad passed away and I left to america to attend matters but left everything behind. Including outstanding debt of about 40 pounds and a Vodaphone contract in which I only paid off about 200 pounds from a 1,300 pound phone.

Will I be able to get a bank account again with anyone or did I screw myself? If so what can I do? Ill be getting a job and I need a bank account to do that. Are there alternatives?

I currently dont have any money to pay the bank back or Vodaphone but I want to in the future when im able to.

Im quite scared about this. any answers are appreciated. Im not a bad person i just want to find a way to get the chance to pay back the money but im scared i wont even be able to get that chance.

noddle & clearscore are free,

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Almost all high street banks now offer a basic bank account with a visa debit card and direct debit facilities so yes, you will be able to get a bank account.
