    Default CAG-Top 3 consumer issues

    Just a thought.

When you look at the new threads on CAGicon everyday, these appear to be the top 3 topics

    1) Parking penalties
    2) Court claims from DCAicon's
    3) General debt issues

In regard to parking penalties, these seem to dominate the new threads everyday and this is probably of no surprise. I just wondered whether it might be useful for CAGicon to have a monthly top 3 issues raised list.

There could then be a focus on these. Perhaps a discussion thread started about how CAG could help e.g. Proactive guide for drivers/car owners to avoid these penalties, what evidence people should gather to help defend actions and the rules that apply etc. There are a number of 'experts' who reply to threads and very useful information is provided, but is then hidden in the threads. Perhaps a sticky discussion thread to main topic areas can be used to capture some of the most useful and latest advice. People would still be encouraged to start new threads for their specific cases.

If this was thought about last year, I'm sure vodafoneicon would have topped the list.

Thing is that if you focus on the main topic issues that people are reporting problems about, then you can pay more attention to them. There are quite a few advice forums and people are looking for helpful easy to follow information that they can use. A discussion thread sticky in each relevant area might help.

If a particular company is causing problems, then you might focus attention on them.

On a different note, It is interesting that since vodafoneicon have stopped having site reps on forums and instead have their own customer contact forum, that fewer vodafoneicon issues are being reported on CAGicon. There might be the same level of problems, but Vodafone have succeeded in keeping a lid on these, by encouraging direct contact with consumers.

Personally, I feel that discussion outcomes ought to end up on a page on the website rather than remain within the forum as a sticky.
