Just need some advice on a Variation Order. A judgement was made on october 2001 for payment to the mortgage Point for 898.51. It was ordered in October 2006 by the court that i pay the claimant the above amount in instalments of 20.00. I sent by first installmnet by the due date, but i have recived a letter from the compnay to say the Court Order figure is incorrect and it should be £1162.51. mortgage point has sent a letter to the court to advise them the figure is incorrect and resissue the order.
Can Mortgage Point do this? Also, the letter they have sent me , says they they accept this on a without prejudice basis.???
