Hi All,

Amazon have agreed I can return a faulty TV. However, it's 55" and I was unable to keep the packaging as it took up too much space. They are saying it cannot be collected unless its securely packaged.

Does anyone know how I might solve this problem.

Not your problem. its faulty, so they should supply packaging. Not you go out of your way to find something that can safely package a 55 inch tv

Can you post something that clarifies that stance or is it just your belief?

I'm inclined to believe it is the other way around, but I stand ready to be put right.

Of course they want to see the telly for themselves and know very well that if it is sent back as it is then it wont arrive in one piece. That tells you plenty about how much they trust the carriers they employ. Have they sent you shipping labels? If so speak to whicjever company is going to do the donkey work about packing
