Evening all.

Today I checked my updated Noddle and MyJar have entered a default from an old TxtLoan from a loan taken 02/12 - default date is 05/12.

I was taking payday loans from 2 different companies, I had defaults already on my file and a couple of credit cards maxed out.

I currently have a Wonga case with the FOS, would I be sensible waiting for the outcome of this one before tackling the MyJar one?

Thank you

I know,.,, But even a name is bad enough for you and for us :)

Best to keep anonymous :)

Really? What happened with that?

Yes it probably will. Complain to Myjar... If they offer consider, if they reject refer to FOS. If not happy with the offer Myjar make before FOS also refer it to the FOS.

We could do with some help from you.

I only had the adjudicators decision on Wednesday and she's given them 7 days to respond. She found that 9 of my 16 loans were unaffordable. works out about £350 ish back. I was using both MyJar and Wonga at the same time.

With MyJar I'm more concerned with getting the Default removed.

Oooo this could be interesting. I have seen and heard of it happening however, its very rare and usually comes about if the loan was deemed unaffordable and it defaulted.

But only if the FOS deem it unaffordable.

When complaining to Myjar - Make sure that you tell them in your expectations that you want the default removed.

The MyJar that has defaulted was at the same time as the Wonga loans the FOS has deemed unaffordable.

Wonga had already written off an outstanding defaulted loan as 'unaffordable' a year or so ago. They agreed last month that another had been unaffordable but I wanted them all removed from my file which for me was more important than the money as my file is almost clean, it would've been spotless next year had MyJar not just added a default.

I've tried so hard to clean it up, it felt like a kick in the teeth.

I'm kind of enjoying the battle though.

Wonga have come back and offered more in fees and interest than advised by the adjudicator. This happened on 28/11/16. I accepted the same day and the money arrived in my bank today :)

Going to start the MyJar process his weekend.
