Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I received a letter today from MBNA in response to my SAR.
As seems to be their procedure, they have replied saying they are looking into my complaint.
I'm now waiting for them to write back to me saying they haven't treated my SAR as a SAR.
On principle this makes me furious, as it is not acceptable according the Data Protection Act!!!!!
As MBNA seem to be reasonably keen to settle without pushing it too far, is it worth me ringing them up confused as to why they are treating a SAR as a complaint, and reminding them that my SAR is a SAR and to damn well provide what I asked for, or should I calm down and just see what happens?
