    Default TFD vs MBNA

I received a letter today from MBNAicon in response to my SARicon.

As seems to be their procedure, they have replied saying they are looking into my complaint.

I'm now waiting for them to write back to me saying they haven't treated my SARicon as a SAR.

On principle this makes me furious, as it is not acceptable according the Data Protection Act!!!!!

As MBNA seem to be reasonably keen to settle without pushing it too far, is it worth me ringing them up confused as to why they are treating a SAR as a complaint, and reminding them that my SAR is a SAR and to damn well provide what I asked for, or should I calm down and just see what happens?

Also, what on earth is a "Customer Advocate Office"? How ambiguous a name for a department do they want?

My gut reaction is to ring them up "somewhat bemused" in the morning and ask if my letter was unclear.
