    Default Information Commisioners office

    Has anyone contacted teh Information Commisioners office yet regarding Abbeyicon's failure to supply the bank statements as requested?.

    I am pretty sure that a few of us will be doing so in the next week or two so it would be good to have some feed back from others

    Yes did so a few weeks ago and have heard nothing from them since. However, on Saturday received a print out of all transactions on my account covering the last 6 yearsicon. Then this morning had a letter from Abbeyicon offering 2k in Full and finalicon etc. It has risen another grand in the last hour (via email) as they are pretty desparate to settle. Not in any rush to email back.

    Do you mean actual email, or 'secure messaging' through your online account? I would be keen to know, as HSBCicon don't seem to like using either...

    I am posting my letter to the office in the morning. Abbeyicon's fortieth day was Monday 17th.

    Letters sent for two accounts 8/03/06 - 40 days= 17th April
    Reminders sent 5th April (along with cheque) 12 Days to go...
    Rang Abbey 1600 18/04/06 asking where info is....
