    Question Barclays and Barclaycard

Since i have my current account with Barclaysicon and also a credit card with Barclaycard would i be able to claim both together or would they need seperate claims?

Also, would it be a good idea to finish paying off my credit card befor i start to claim against them? Owe less than £200 so it's not a problem.

    Cheers.

Probably best to treat them as two different companies otherwise it might get a bit confusing if you proceed to commencing court action (which is very likely with Barclaysicon).

I wouldn't worry about paying it off - as far as I know they haven't been closing people's accounts for taking action against them yet.

I believe Barclaysicon and barclaycard are separate companies so you'd have to do them separately

Not so, a quote from the defence I received from Barclays regarding my claim against them, shame they didn't actually read my claim as I claimed against 'Barclays Bank PLC trading as Barclaycard'

Barclaycard is a trading division of Barclays Bank PLC and not a legal entity in its own right
So you could do the whole lot in one go if you wanted to.
