As you can imagine it took me ages to compile the list! I had to do it manually, going in and out of the Litigation concluded section of the forum. I had to present the list to a District Judge, therefore it had to look as professional as possible...I did my best.
My stay was in regard to my Claim against Morgan Stanley, who gave me immense grief for six months but finally caved in and paid up, plus the £65.00 -N224 fee. I am now in the process of withdrawing my money Claim against MS. Therefore, the stay on my Claim does not need to be put aside.
One interesting point to mention though, is that I have issued another money Claim against Egg which was waiting to be Allocated to the small claims track. I had anticipated a Stay, but my county court has in fact allocated this Claim to the small claims track.
I feel sure that the List Annexe 2 that I provided, must have some bearing on my Claim against EGG not being stayed by the District Judge.
As previously stated, I am in the process of updating the list, to include all the concluded claims, including County Court Claim numbers to date and I will keep updating the list, in preparation for my hearing against Egg plc.

Was your claim stayed because it was over £5000? Im quite new to this and just wondering what my chances are of having a case stayed. My claims are all (just) under 5K.
My Claim was not over 5K and...
to be honest I do not think that the amount is relevant!
Any Claimant, whatever the amount is involved, who's Claim is Stayed should make an application notice (N244) to the Court, in order that the stay be lifted.
IMHO, Claimant's should not have to wait for months for the monies that are owed to them, in what is a simple monetary Claim, generally the amount of monies Claimed is insignificant to the Banks, but often a small fortune to the Claimants, many of whom are unemployed, ill, or are on benefit etc.,
I wonder, if there is a Human Rights issue relating to Claimants who wish to make an Application Notice N244 to have a Stay put Aside, but cannot afford the fee, neither are they eligable for the exemption of the paying court fee.
There are many reasons for this occurring as the court exemption scheme is means tested. This is just my humble opinion, but it doesn't seem correct for consumers who are in a vulnerable situation, caused by illness, or loss of employment to have to wait months for monies that are lawfully theirs, because their Claim has been Stayed!
The Courts are obviously a Government Body, therefore 'Human Rights' should apply.
Please be aware, that I do nor have any legal expertise, the above is simply JMHO

HSBC £320 with contract interest, prelim sent 12/11/06
Natwest Visa £825 with contract interest, prelim sent 15/11/06
BTW, I have a spreadsheet version that I'm keeping up to date, it's currently available from this post (up to 285 cases in the available version) but am trying to sort another location...
