    Default Returned postal order

I have had two postal orders returned to me with unfulfilled requests (even though those requests by all rights should have been fulfilled). Annoyingly while I have everything else from that day (including the file copy of the requests, and the receipt slips for the recorded delivery), the receipts for payment of the postal orders aren't among them.

What can I do to get back the money that is currently tied up in them?

You can just take them to the post office and cash them

Does it not matter who they're actually made out to then? I don't need the receipts from when I paid for them in the first place?

It might be worth ringing the Post Office to ask? If you explain they may allow it?

When I went over, they told me that normally they'd need the original receipts, but because of the low value involved they were happy to cash them anyway.
