Hello Everyone!

I sent a CCA request off recently, and eventully received back confirmation from Arrow Global that they were unable to supply an agreement from the original creditor, so the account would not be subject to collection activity.

Today in the post came a letter from Phillips and Cohen addressed to The Executor of Tedney's Estate! P & C said they were acting for Arrow Global and were sorry for Tedney's passing but want paying!

I have read up about P & C on here and propose to do nothing about their letter, as it was addressed to"My Executor" but I am not dead yet!

Any thoughts and/or comments welcome as always.

Thanks

t

Fantastic, how incredibly puerile.

I'd ignore them too, but would be making a very loud complaint about this outfit to the relevant authorities.

You can definitely ignore anything sent from anyone, until the CCA request has been honoured.

Lodge a formal complaint about AG too.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

Mistake !

Check your credit record to make sure it has not been reported. Just in case you started to be turned down for credit or services because you were deceased.

Think you should send their letter back to advise that you are still alive and Arrow Global have advised that they are not pursung this account,

We could do with some help from you.

IMO yes.

P&C have their own biased complaints procedure too it seems.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Perhaps they could write any debt off because of the stress this has caused you ?

It wouldn't be the first time a DCA or their solicitor have done something like this !
