Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I've had a reply and an offer from Mint after sending my lba. The time limit has passed (I recieved the letter at the end of it) and so I don't feel the standard rejection letter still applies. I also am not sure whether I need to send a rejection letter at all! Here's why...
The offer is for £184 and I claimed for £214. The person dealing with me sent me a list of charges as they see them which totals £184. The £30 difference comes from three charges of £10 which are for returned payment. Am I eligble to claim these, and if so how should I go about it. They are offering me pretty much all my charges so I don't want to **** them off!
