having sent the initial request last week. I have now received a bog standard reply letter "we are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the charges applied to your account.................. .............you will receive a reply shortly, but certainly no later than 4 weeks"
Do i just ignore this and go ahead with the lba if I haven't had anything within the 14 days? Also do I take the 14 days from the date they received the letter?

Yes what you say is correct.Continue as per procedures.
Take it as 14 working days then send the lba......with a further copy of your spreadsheet/schedule of charges.
