There are some that are dealt with quite quickly others can take up to 2 years or more. Just read round the forum and you will get a general idea.

In relation to FOS complaints and Payday loans can someone advise me please. I have had some success with two payday lenders I have lent with over the years in relation to compensation received due to irresponsible lending, however the majority just dismissed me denying irresponsible lending. In their response they advised me if I didn't agree with their decision to contact FOS inside 12 weeks. In the end up I didn't contact FOS however I regret this now, my question is can I still go to FOS with these complaints or has the window passed in relation that I missed this 12 week window.
