I have received a letter from Rossendales, Professional debt collectors regarding a student loan company debt of £1388.00

I only graduated last year (2014) and am currently paying SLC directly from my salary as is expected. They are stating that they may start legal action or I may get a visit from a doorstep collector to obtain payment or discuss repayment structure.

Where do I stand with this? Would you advise I contact the SLC directly?

Thanks in advance

rossers in this instance are a DCA

they are NOT BAILIFFS

and can be totally ignored

no doorstepper has any legal powers anyway.

check with SLC everything is running ok

unless the debt has been sold

when did you first start with SLC?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

As per DX contact SLC and ask why they are sending Dossendales when you are paying your loans as per the correct procedure from your salary.

We could do with some help from you.
