After sending my initial letter requesting my statement history on 7 August I received my bank statements within the alloted time and sent off my claim. 2 days before the 14 days were up I received the standard letter refusing to pay up and their fees were legitimate so I sent a second letter requesting the sum of £527 giving a 14 day deadling. Within 1 week I had a reply saying my complaint had been forwarded to the customer Service Unit and 2 days letter I had a letter from the infamous Stuart Higley offering me £210 in Full and finalsettlement. This I obviously decline (politely!!) and I received a further letter offering the sum of £350 in full and final settlement. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances myself and my husband have decided to accept this offer - even though we would like to have fought for the full amount.
I believe it is quite possible and wish eveyone luck fighting for their money back!
