I would also say, you must read the Tour Operators terms and conditions as these can have an effect on your claim and claim process.
If in any doubt, ALWAYS, complain in the resort to a representative of the company or immediatley you return. Keep copies of all correspondence including asking the rep for copies of their notes before you depart the resort.
Do not delay in sending in your grievance to the company.

Yes, to read the tour operators terms and conditions are good to read. However, they are always printed tiny and are loads of pages in length. To be honest, who really does read all of this every time? I don't. Sofar I was happy that everything worked out well.
