Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am just trawling through my statements (6 years of re-prints successfully obtained from HSBC for no charge) from 2000-present and I have noticed a lot of £1.00 cash machine fees, I remeber the banks withdrawing these as they were "unfair" but can we claim them back? I have reaqd through the FAQs but cant seem to find anything relating to these types of charge.
They are not withdrawls from those charging machines in shops and pubs but regular banks which are in the Link network ie RBS and TSB, etc, etc. There are quite a few I have only looked through one page and I have found £10! Any help anyone??
WELCOME
These can't be reclaimed as it was a charge for a service. The banks did not stop them because they were unfair .They withdrew the charge because they were losing customers over them.
please keep us posted on your progress.
