Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
To make this brief, last night registered with Tesco online. Decided to buy a CD for the price of 8.93.
When inputting my credit card details it said card not accepted, so I tried again with the same error message.
At this point I gave up as a bad job. Checked my online banking 30 mins later and 2 sums had come out of my bank (Natwest) for 8.93.
I have phoned tesco who have stated they never received payments and I have nothing on order etc. I am so annoyed. Even phoned my bank who confirmed the payments have been made to tesco and money out of my bank has gone. Phoned tesco like 5 times who keep saying they have no record of payments. Please any help appreciated. Never used online services before and this has put me right off.

Don't tar all online services with Tesco's dirty corporate brush ... I've been buying stuff online for years and have had only a couple of unhappy experiences
What does it say on your statements? Does it mention the word Tesco?
If so phone back ... get a specific person to e-mail and do a screen dump for them showing the payments to Tescos ... if they still don't sort it go to your nearest store and the customer service department
Thanks Becka for the prompt reply. No it doesnt show as tesco on the online banking yet. Just shows as card transaction but good idea.
I did not realize the tesco stores would help, would of thought tesco online was "differant" . If no luck by Friday (my day off work) I will go into my local store.
You know everyone I spoke too at Tesco was sarcastic and unhelpful and did not know the least thing about customer service or empathy or show any sign of social skills. Im keeping a list of names and call times etc. I just want my money back.

It might be that the transaction has not gone fully through or been cancelled in which case the money goes in to limbo for a few days you should get it back.
I had this with a debit card where they put the wrong ammount in and then cancelld it, the money was gone from my bank and they didnt have it as they cancelld the transaction, I got it back after a couple of days.
Thanks for that James, lets hope that is the case. The bank today informed me it was paid to
Tesco and Guernsey mail order.
