Hi everyone.

I wonder if you know whether it's lawful for Littlewoods and Very to make multiple £12 charges in a matter of days? I have received 3 this month and 2 last month. On each account. One account is very nearly cleared and my payments were a few days late but only ever amounted to 1 month's arrears. I would only owe around £125 now had it not been for these charges of £72 in total. This seems a sneaky way around the Fair charge policy. I've also opted for online bills yet they make a silly excuse that for clarity they will be sending by post this month..Another [problem] to ensure a charge by post. I pay them regularly every week too but am always just a bit short to clear their charging criteria it seems! Very annoying!

You should be able to reclaim these charges.

You would need to have your statements - complete a spread sheet from the link below - download the claim from the Financial Ombudsman website. Send to Company requesting these back.

You could in the first instance make a formal complaint to their Head/Registered office - I think multiple charging in one month is very unfair and it is what you should tell them.
