Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Claim closed / judged on default as Nat West did not file a defence
Two days after judgement on default cheque received for full amount minus interest and a gagging order (don't tell anybody we paid you)
As the cheque was intended as an out of court settlement that arrived too late can I take it but decline to accept any attached conditions and just say I take it as part payment against the judgement made & you still owe me interest ?
Nat West now has got a CCJ against them which I think they can only request to have removed if they pay in full within 1 month ?
Could it be they are getting swamped by all this ?
I cant answer your question but CONGRATULATIONS:grin:, enjoy your money and have a good Christmas Drink on Natwest
