Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
If I see items on my credit file that I do not recognise, how can I investigate them?
I knew I had a few defaults, but after receiving my file, there are some I don't believe to be mine.
If they are incorrect, how do I get them removed? Must they PROVE they have issued me a default notice or remove the default from my file? Or am I stuck with it?
I applied to Experian, and they said "the company mentioned believe the default was issued correctly and the information is correct" How do I respond to that?? Take them to court?
