Hi there newbie here,

I havent received a PCN as of yet.

But I think I will at the same junction on the high road.

I was also traveling from ilford towards romford.

There was a massive transit van long wheel base turning left from chadwell heath lane on to the high road

(like the small van on the PCN on this thread)

However at the time driving into the junction i was intending to go on ahead.

There was another car just outside of the box in the right lane.

The transit van turned left was intending to turn right so was going into the right lane.

But as the other car was just outside the box in the right lane he was blocking the box junction lane for all traffic that was going straight.

This was all very dynamic and happened as I was driving,

If i was to know he was going to stop in the box junction as the right lane was blocked.

I would have not entered the box junction and would have waited for the straight ahead lane to be clear.

But as I said it was all very quick and dynamic so as I entered the box he block my lane.

Do I have a chance of appealing this ?

Do you you kind people think I will get a ticket, as reading on Redbridge Website this camera in unmanned and records events in the box.

Its only viewied by an operator and then deemed an offence, if they see something.

So its an unmanned camera and it says on their website.

Do you think the person viewing the events will take into consideration the van blocking my lane to go straight ahead.

Any help or guidance from you gurus would be totally appreciated as

I dont really have the money to pay with christmas and new year events.

Its just my luck the van blocked my lane, but as i said if knew prior to entering the box that the van would block me,

I would have not entered it.

Can someone please help me ?

Thank you so much in advance

Probably not the answer you want but...

don't worry about the appeal until or if you get a PCN.

At present you are concerning yourself with a possible PCN.

No-one can really predict what will happen if you do end up appealing,

but until you have a PCN you don't need to do anything.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

You are right but im so paranoid, Its better excepting the worse than not knowing. But reading through my scenario and hypothetically speaking then, where do you think I stand ?

It's impossible to know. That's my point really, we can only speculate on what might happen. Until you get a PCN and some idea of what evidence they have, it's all hypothetical.

In principle, if you stopped, you could get a PCN. You have some sort of defence if events were beyond your control, but whether it succeeds or not by appeal remains to be seen.
