Thread: Halifax Mess Up Again (What can I do)

I am sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum. If it is please advise me where to place it.

Well here goes

I am banking with the Halifax and for the past 8 mths I have been paying my private motor car via direct debit until 2mths ago when I contacted the credit comp and paid the full amount off. Off to the bank I go and cancel the DD. I check the statement yesterday and I am still be charging the DD amount.

Where do I stand?

What do I do?

How quick can I get the money back?

I went in to the bank and I signed a thingy to cancel DD

Money has went to credit comp

raise te issue with both parties.

Thanks for that, I am a little confused why I need to raise it with the insurance comp, Do you mean the credit comp? Sorry for being silly
