They've had they're time. I am going to start a claim on MCOL.

Will be doing plenty of further reading before I make the claim.

    Here we go....!

Recieved an offer from Natwesticon before I filled at MCOL.

I have written in reply declining their offer but thanking them for trying to settle out of court. I have offered them another go at settling for the full amount before I put in a claim against them that is going to cost them more money.

I don't suppose they'll go for it, but it is less hassle for me than going through MCOL.

Have you sent this yet? You have a duty to mitigate your losses and should agree to accept the offer as part-settlement.

Thanks for the warning Vampiress. I did remember to say that I would accept the £260 as part settlement of my claim.

Glad that people are watching out for me though - this forum really is very helpful.

Good news! The full original claim was credited to my account following my letter after their initial offer.

No letter yet, but I expect it is coming soon.

Happy to help out anyone with any maths questions.

Thanks to all that have helped so far.

p.s. U/n picked ages ago for my tiscali account and just sort of stuck in my head - it was the most creative I could manage at the time, it is a bit goofy, but does the job!

Thanks. Survey will be done tonight.

I have a feeling that Argos isn't going to be as easy to win.
