Have been claiming back £535.on behalf of other half, they agreed to pay it back with conditional signing, we sent back letter saying we would accept if it was unconditional, now because he was a little late paying his monthly agreement arranged through CCCS due to tight funds this month they have hit him with a £12.penalty charge, does he have any chance of getting this dropped or does he just have to grin and bear it and make sure he's on time next month? We are still awaiting unconditional offer.

The unconditional offer should come very soon. The oft ruling says that the £12 is a guideline if you still believe that £12 is too much then you can challange it.
