    Red face Hi Peeps-any suggestions

I am fairly new to all this. I have just sealed the preliminary request on my main bank account. I would like now to pursue some of the late payment fees attached to my (many )credit cards over the years.

The problem is details and contacts for cards that I no longer have. any suggetsion where I might get these from, would a credit check from a credit reference agency such as experian show the account no's ??

    Any suggestions welcome.

P.S. apologies if I am in the wrong place still finding th is site a bit of a maze.

I don't know if the credit reference files show account numbers but if your write to the C/Card company concerned, giving from/to dates, your address(es) at the time that the accounts were active and include some sort of proof of identity such as a printed utility bill they should be able to find your old account number.

    Good luck.

It depends on what information has been passed to the credit reference agency. I've had checks come back with account numbers included.
