Hi guys,
I'm having a bit of trouble filling in my spreadsheet to send with the prelim letter.
I can't figure out the interest charged on my overdrafts etc. Would it be simpler to just not add the interest and just go with the charges?
Also, have you guys filled inb the simple or advanced spreadsheets?
Thanks x
Also, I have noticed on my Nationwide statements I have 2 lots of interest payments. One lot is on the actual statement around the 22nd of each month and another lot on the charges sheet on the last day of each month.
Are these different interest payments?? Any help hugely appreciated.
I am also completing my spreadsheets to send off my initial request and I have just included all charges on my charges sheet for each month. I'm not sure if I can be bothered to try and work out the interest on my overdrafts, so I have entered the simple spreadsheet version, which calculates the statutory 8% interest for you as well.
Ultimately, it depends on whether you want to object to that interest compounded or take the statutory amount and "be happy with that".
I think you will find that the charges taken on your statement are those on the previous months charges schedule. Try to cross reference them.
Can you confirm if we ask for the initial amount for the charges first and the 8% interest is included in the court claim. Or do we ask for all charges plus interest at outset?
Hope I have helped in some way and Good Luck.
