    | think this is something that may need to be looked at, there are quite a few people on these boards whose statement have arrived in damaged packaging.
Have you checked that all that is in there should be?

We all know how slimy and dubious these banks are I can't help thinking that something is going on. Am I paranoid - Damn right I am.

I too have sent letters to IoM Bank requesting payment of charges (£2700). They sent the reply you posted earlier so i followed it up with a letter threatening court action BUT as I am based in the UKI they said they were not governed by UK law and so I could not claim - basically tough luck. Which letter did you have success with?

    Congratulations on your victory

I sent the letter to Natwesticon in London claining they were subject to UK law as Isle of Man was a subsidiary company. They forwarded it to the Isle of Man and said they would reply within 28 days. They replied today saying they were not acting illegally and the charges were clearly indicated. However, as a gesture of goodwillicon they would refund my charges of £2167.

Thanks to all who gave me the encouragement to continue despite initial setbacks.
