Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am just about to put together a SAR letter to Lloyds TSB. I have a number of accounts with this bank and I gather I just send the 1 cheque and list the account numbers & sort codes on this letter?
What about credit cards? Can I include card details on the SAR too? I had a TSB 'Asset' card which is no longer valid but I am still paying off the remaining balance. I can still access this card's account through my Lloyds TSB internet site to pay money into it/view remaining balance/view statement etc. They made a few bob out of me when it was maxed out a few years back.
Also, what address would be more appropriate for my SAR letter?
25 GRESHAM STREET
LONDON
EC2V 7HN
or
Penny Berryman
Senior Manager
Data Protection Dept.
Lloyds TSB Bank PLC
The Pentagon
48, Chiswell Street
London
EC1Y 4XX
Yes, you can request all your accounts under the same SAR. Just make sure you list the seperate account numbers clearly.
The Penny Berryman address is the one you need.
