Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
A friend put me in touch with this website after he successfully recovered his charges.
At the moment i'm a bit dubious about getting anything back but looking at other cases I might be pleasantly surprised.
It's the Royal Bank of Scotland i'm going after so if anyone can point me in the direction of help with this bank then please either reply to this or PM me.
The best things you can do are to read the FAQ's HERE, then have a look at some of the longer threads in the forum section relating to your bank to see how others are getting on and then start your own thread about your claim.
There's plenty of help available on here whatever your question or problem may be.
The reclaim process is not difficult but it MUST follow the guidelines laid out in the FAQ's so make sure you understand the process before you start firing off any letters. There are plenty of template letters available for you to modify to make applicable to your own claim and there are spreadsheets available to aid you in calculating your total claim, interest etc.
If you have any questions then post them on your own thread and you WILL get answers very quickly.
To find the RBS forum click on the Bank Forums link at the end of my post and scroll down to the Royalbank of Scotland heading. Click the link to take you to the forum then click the "New Thread" button and away you go!
Best of luck!
Pete
