Scotchy v Alliance & Leicester

Hi everyone,
I've been tracking cases and reading posts on this site for a while now and have decided to go for it and get the ball rolling, getting what's mine back from the Alliance & Leicester.

I've been with them for 17+ years, the last few years they have helped make my life a financial hell, the more venerable and weaker position you are the more they capitalize on your misfortunes and dig you deeper in the sh!t helping themselves to more and more money that you haven’t got. I have finally started to get things back on track now but still have a way to go.

Now it's time for payback, I sent my request for bank statements and £10 of to them on the 16/10/06, the cheque was cashed on the 21/10/06. Up until today I haven’t received anything back.

It took A&L a while to send me my statements. They arrived very close to the deadline.

Hi Scotchy, and welcome aboard.

I'm a little farther ahead than you, just got my "Sodd Off you can't have YOUR money back" letter, that's what they think

My SAR

took about three weeks to come back, but the "sodd off" was sent out in four days

Good luck with the claim, not that you'll need it, just remember to keep pecking at them and don't back down

Welcome, Scotchy.

Be prepared to wait the full 40 days. If I were you I'd spend the time relaxing, as they'll wind you up no end once it all starts.

You've had a good read around tho', so you know what to expect.

I was surprised by how quick they reacted to my request, they have responded to each step far quicker than they needed to, i sent SAR icon

's for A&L, co-op and smile on the same day, filed my claim with A&L last friday, only at lba icon

stage with the other two!
