Just an update folks - I'm at day 19 from when I sent my DPA request, I see from my bank statement that GE/Debenhams have just cashed the £10 cheque, hopefully statements will follow shortly.

I also have a question, this account has been paid off with a balance of 0.00 ...should I close this account now? I was going to wait until they had paid back my money.

Don't bother, I'll take a bet that as of now, you have a credit balance of £10, and no info on its way.
That's what they've done to me on 2 separate cards (both of them closed accounts!).

Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.

Well.... as Bookworm predicted, I received my statement today and yep you've guessed it, they have credited the £10 DPA cheque to my account.

I'm now at day 30 from when I first sent a DPA request and I still haven't heard a thing back from them. So it looks like I'll be back here at day 40 asking for advice on what to do next.

    Bye for now,
    Lester Piglet
