Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am already in the middle of a claim with Barclays, and am awaiting the outcome of my lba!!
I would also like to do the same to Barclaycard, but have a question, and hopefully someone could clarify for me.
Am I able to request the charges from Barclaycard even if the acount is now closed?? I had an account that I paid off and closed at the begining of this year, but would like to know if I can reclaim the charges impossed on that account??
Yes it doesn't make any difference if the account is closed. I suggest you read through the Barclays/Barclaycard threads as it appears they're not the easiest to get information from and you will need to know how to respond to them.
