Just been on the phone to the agency in work for. Usually they ring me Friday or Monday for my hours. They've rang me today at 10.36 for my hours and told me " it's to late now the hours have to go in before 10am on Monday so you won't be paid until next week" i said well if that's the case why are you ringing me at 10.36 and why wasn't i given any warning it had to be before 10am? It's never been an issue before infact I have txt messages from them wanting my hours before 12.

Surely this will screw up my benefits for next week?

I have received your email through regarding payment for hours worked wc 06.08.2012.

Your hours must be called in each Friday, at the very latest Monday morning by 9:00am

The hours are submitted for approval at 9:00am each Monday. They where a little late going across this morning and that's why I text you at 10:00am to see if we could push them through for you. * We send a text each Friday or Monday as a reminder where possible, we are not obliged to do so, it is your responsibility to submit your hours.

By the time you replied to the text it was far too late to process your hours.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused. It is however your responsibility to tell Rullion how many hours your worked in time for us to submit them for approval.

Please ensure going forward that you call / text or email your hours ideally Friday but by 9.00am on Monday at the very latest.

Should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Now I've said if that's the case why have you been ringing me for four months every week since I started and nothing has been said about it.Why wasn't i made aware of this from the start. Why have i got several txt messages asking for wages before 12 Monday. Why am I called on Monday after 9 even when an email has been sent on Friday with hours?

Seems to me the deadline has been changed and they've not bothered to tell me.

so the question is how much do you want to hack off the wages processor? guess it depends how much you need the job.

Never assume anyone on the internet is who they say they are. Only rely on advice from insured professionals you have paid for!

In the last 12 months I've had one agency pay me wrong 17 times and sack me for complaining qbout a man being paid mre than me for the exact same job.Another agency i did a few days for not pay me at all or provide a payslip then send me abusive emails for asking when I would be paid. Now I have another agency making mistakes to my loss. Again.

It's not unreasonable to be a bit miffed.

so this agency is bad because other agencies were bad.

What you choose to do about it, as I said before, depends how badly you need the job.

So I've started a new job. The advert said 9-5 £6.61 an hour. I've got to the job and I'm there from 9 until 4 4.30. But only being paid for 5. There taking an hour off for breaks but the other hour there saying whilst were getting out gear ready and sorting were we are supposed to be we are not paid for that. That can't be right surely?

Also, check my timesheet online and they've deducted another 15 min for "unpaid break". So in there for 7 hours but only being paid for 4 hours 45 min.

Also, if we have to go over anything the next day say an hour or two, were not paid for that either.
