I have received letter from Dca regarding my account with Sygma Bank( Adams credit card) requesting payment a while ago.

I have ignored first few, and than have sent Cca request.

Today Cca has arrived along with copy of statements for the las 10 months.

The original amount I defaulted on was £800 now it is £1206 which are all penalty charges and over limit charges.

What I should do?

Is it worth sending letter requesting Notice of Assignment to DCA?

I want to claim all charges back, but if the debt has been sold, is it DCA I am going to sent the letter with request to refund all charges back?

Thank you for quick reply. Card was taken out in 2005. I made last payment in June 2013. I haven't checked my cra file yet.

Should I send letter to dca informing them that I am in the process of claiming back charges?

I have checked CRA file. Sygma bank is still on it, not drydensfsirfax. I have sent letter to Sygma requesting charges back. Should I ignore drydens since they not even on CRA file?

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

...

YOU DONT have to put a link to the attachment in the msg box..just upload it ..job done

Quick update guys.

I have acknowledge that I have received documents from court.

I am going to fill in defence form as debt is made out of penalty charges( letter sent to creditor to reclaim them).

Also I have not received letter before action which should have been issued before they started court proceedings

so I was told in Citizen Advice.

you have 33 days to do that.

you need to ack the claim on the Mcol site after registering.

charges reclaiming is no defence.
