How far back can you claim?

Hi all
I have just discovered this fantastic site and I am about to start a claim against HSBC icon

.

However I need some advice for my husband who was EDIT blind in fees by the RBS icon

about 6 - 7 years ago, and it has affected his credit score.

Is it too late to do anything about this or can we still make a claim for the money?

You can claim charges back for the last 6 years icon

and if the charges were the reason for the default then you can demand for the default to be removed also.

Hi all!
I see from here that in Scotland we can only claim as far back as 5 years.
Following an offer of £301 (where do they get such a strange amount?)
"in Full and final icon

settlement" i'd like to ask you guys what i should do next.
Is there a letter template for the next stage? Do I start explaining why that offer just isn't good enough?
