Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Data protection letter written and cheque singed. Ready to make claim with GE for three accounts, debenhams, doroty perkins and house of fraser. All closed 2 years ago but worth pursuing. Don't have account numbers anymore but have included previous address etc so hopefully this will be ok.
I had the same thing with GE Capital for my Dorothy Perkins Account ... its been closed for 2 years. So I phoned them and gave them my info and said I needed some transaction information from before the account was closed (didn't say what tho) and the lady said the send a letter and quote my account number, which she then gave me! Not sure if she actually should have given it to me, but it makes my life a bit easier! I'm sure they'll want some ID and stuff before sending me anything out!
Good luck and I'll keep you posted on what happens with my claim.
I am wanting to start a claim for my closed Dorothy Perkins & Debenhams Store Cards from GE Capital but I dont seem to beable to find an address to send the letter to, can anyone please help me??!
