Confidentiality-where do i stand ?

Where do we stand re signing confidentality letters. Is there something i can quote in order to explain to Marbles that i accept their offer but dont want to sign. They agreed after i filed in court to pay in full 174.47 and i am writing to say i will accept their offer, but will be asking for 8% as well. if they dont agree i will tell them i will ask the court for an amendment icon

. They want me to sign their letter before i receive payment. Any ideas ?

Did you include 8% under s.69 on your original claim ?

I dont understand what you are asking the court to amend

Basically, i filed a claim in sheriffs court. I followed the template but didnt fill in the judicial interest icon

of 8% as i thought you couldnt get a figure until had won the claim. Marbles have agreed to pay out of court, but havent included 8% on the amount. I want to ask them for this plus i dont want to sign the confidentiality clause so would like to know if there is any easy way of telling them this.

The only reason i would ask the court to amend would be if Marbles wouldnt agree to pay my claim with me adding on the 8%. I was told i could apply to the court for an amendment icon

. Basically, i dont want to sign the clause but wondered if there were any quotes i could use for my reply to marbles.

Unicorn - are we talking less than £15 here?

Scottish Claim - judicial interest icon

of 8% wouldn't be applied 'til after the date claim was allowed. This would only be a few pounds.

Maybe you should have claimed 15.9% contractual interest from the date of charge and through the english courts- same as Marbles has charged you!

Confidentiality clauses - sign them and forget them - they can't take away your rights!

If your claim only specified the £174.47 this is what you will get plus your court expenses and expenses of bringing the action - be sure you are getting these!
