WARNING! chancel repair liability?
Hi! all! would just like to ask if anyone knows of this CHANCEL REPAIR LIABILY law, and has anyone had dealings with the insurance company CHANCLECHECK, that seems to be the only company willing to insure against the possibility of the church making a claim against you for upkeep of the church, BUT ONLY if you haven't asked thier company to do a search to ascertain whether or not your property is one of those affected?
Would welcome any comments. Dont think many people know about this as it only comes to light when you go to buy a new home.
