Thread: Im new and the bank still has not sent me my 2004 statements

I will be searching on here, but does anyone have a link or a good letter I can now send to Halifax about still not receiveing the statements, as I have been ringing and ringing - they have all the details as they have refunded me the £5 to apologise (that was in september) but still no 2004 statements. I have made sure I have kept details of phone calls times and who I spoke to.

Have all your requests been done over the phone in which case this is what you need to do:

Consumer Action Group > Libraries - bank charges materials and other issues > Bank templates library 1. Data Protection Act, Subject access request letter - List of charges

This will gave you the initial letter template Data Protection Act (Data Protection ACT) - which, if you haven't got your bank statements or list of charges going back six years you will need to make a claim.
If you read this letter you will notice that it says "please provide me with a list of charges" which is what you are asking for. Remind them or even send a copy regarding the refunded £5. They then have 40 days to respond to this letter.
I suggest you use that time to read up on the process and other people's threads etc...as someone said in another thread, take your time it's not a race just make sure you do it right.

Hi thanks for your reply my first contact with them was through a Data Protection letter I think of this site since then its has been through phone calls

do I send the Data Protection Act Non-Compliance letter even though they have sent me all the other years accept 2004
