i have a pay as you go 3 mobile phone. the service isnt the best but for £25 i get 500 minutes of voice calls and £1.50 of cash calling credit.
this is a better deal on pay as you go than most contract phones are able to offer, but it has a draw back.
i have just signed up to bt's voip services for my home telephone. here lies the problem. bt cant give you a standard 01 or 02 prefix dial code for some strange reason. they have given me a dial code of 05600.
now 3pay have decided that this is a premium rate number and are charging me out of my cash credit and not out of my inclusive minutes. ive contacted bt and have been informed that they dont impose any penalties to any other phone service for dialing this number.
