I am concerned about Toothfairy Finance which now appears to have a new website referring to Blackwater Contact Centre.

I have been on a repayment plan with NDR (Northern Debt Recovery) for a Toothfairy loan I had,

which I have been paying back fortnightly,

I have never missed a payment and on the 12 th December they did not take the usual payment so

I tried to contact them to no avail,

continuously ringing NDR and Toothfairy with no answer for about 3 days

I decided to do a search on the internet and discovered to my dismay the news they had gone into administration and all the bad reports re their Director and businesses.

I thought I had dealt with a reputable company but it appears not.

Not expecting to hear from them again without some sort of explanation but

to my shock and horror they tried to take a payment today (26) which has obviously failed cause I told them not to take anything without talking to me first

and I also thought they had closed.

Have tried continuously today to get them but of course no one is answering,

despite their email message saying contact them within 24 hours.

My question is can someone advise me who I can go to find out what is happening with these people.

Thanks.

I wouldnt worry about them. Keep the money to obe side then when they come back with proof of the debt, you can pay them. Just dont let them add on charges and interest because they will try.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Northern Debt Recovery split from Toothfairy earlier this year and are a company in their own right. As far as I am aware, NDR are still open and able to receive payments.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

Thank you all for your input, not heard anymore , am going to try and ring them tomorrow again, as acccording to the new Toothfairy (Blackwater) website it says they are closed till the 30th.

I bet they are again the Per Gullestrup team. I googled blackwater, it's a collection business. They must be using them since they closed the collection group. This is what the person told me on the phone many weeks ago.
