I opened a basic account with A&L recently, for depositing cheques via the post (easier than the post office).
I went a few pence overdrawn and didn't notice, as I only ever pay cheques in and then transfer the money electronically to my other acount.

Lo and behold, within approx 2-3 months they have charged me more than £125 for something that started as a few pence.

I really will take this to the end of the road, having already won £600+ from HSBCicon and having issued a warrant to Mint yesterday! A&L can go ahead and close my account too - saves me the hassle of filling in the forms myself!

Wish me luck.
