    Default Mint card: requested a warrant yesterday

    I have been trying to get £160 of charges back from Mint (boosted by my £600 refund from HSBCicon).

    They acknowledged the claim but failed to file a defenceicon, so I filed for judgement. Yesterday I paid for a warrant, but the status is still at 'requested'.

    I was wondering if anyone knows the procedure from here - i.e., are Mint likely to pay now? How long will it take? And do Mint have a history of closing accounts? (I only ask as I have just cleared the card to take advantage of a 1.9% balance transfer offer!).

    This might seem like a daft thing, but have you checked that the claim was filed by the courts? My court forgot to send anything to the bank, which delyed things neatly.

    Otherwise, I dunno, sorry

    1st claim Filed 5/10/06 SETTLED 19/10 £747.80 plus £534.31 interest
