**you can post up images/letters by this method immediately..you don't need 10 posts**

set your default scan page size to A4 less than 300DPI [150 will do]

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc

but leave all monetary figures and dates.

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

though dont use full bank names or CAG in the title

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

...

YOU DONT have to put a link to the attachment in the msg box..just upload it ..job done

I see Silverfox beat me to it pointing out all the obvious 'errors' and half truths in the letter, initially agreed with the ACPO indeed

There is no real obligation to comply with pre-action protocols and I find it very hard to believe that any judge would take a persons failure to reply to RLP's letters (note..NOT the store, read the Oxford case and you will see that the Judge is somewhat puzzled as to who RLP are and what their involvement is !) as a reason to overide the small claims no-costs rules.

If it were me I would point out that RLP are NOT the store, they havnt explained what their connection is to the store and whether they have a right to pursue the alleged debtor, they make no attempt to justify the amount claimed or how it is calculated, both of these issues clearly caused concern to the Judge in Oxford, all the receiver of the letter knows is that he is being asked for a sum of money with no explanation as to how it is calculated by an organisation he has never heard of and has no connection with.

Insinuating CAG is hype when they play exactly the same game is pathetic. They hype themselves to be something that they are not. Narcissistic tendencies come to mind. The thing is, they believe their own hype.

It is not clear what is meant by the 'data' they hold about people and I find it hard to fathom exactly what they are going to hand over to the police, copies of pages from this site ?, and what they expect the police to do about it ?

I think this is because they are getting it ready to pass on to a tame debt collector. Still nothing to worry about. You may get 2 or 3 letters from a DCA who will try and make you believe they have more power than they really have. Scruntise all letters carefully.

It will likely be scotcall who send 3-4 automated letters then crawl back under their rock.
