    Default Have I blown it?

    Hi folks,

Looking to place a claim for around £450 in charges over the last year (I was slightly better off before that, so only the one years claim to make.)

I have got the last years statements from my branch after a number of weeks. So I presume that I don't need to put in my data potection letter.

Unfortunately, before I knew about any of the information contained within this site, I phoned my branch back in June and asked if they could do anything about refunding some of the charges. They gave me £50, which I accepted. It was all verbal and nothing happened in writing.

Can I still claim, less the £50? Or can I only claim from then on.... admittedly, the majority of the money I want to claim is more recent, when they started claiming £30... then £90 referral fees.

    Help....

    And thanks in advance!

    GG

Edit... PS. Also, am I writing to just my branch?!?

Just put the refund in the spreadsheet on the date they refunded it, and then claim the balance.

And is it best to direct my letter towards my branch in the first instance?

    Cheers

Mixed opinions - I sent mine to the large customer service centre near to me, but branch is OK.

Branch is fine on first letter as usually gets to the right place for a response.
