I have submitted a claim for £575 against Halifax / Bank of Scotland, and have today received a letter offering £140 as a goodwill gesture for Full and final
payment.
I am unwilling to accept this, however I am unsure how to proceed.
Is there a standard letter that I can send to accept the offer as partial settlement, but also to inform them that I still require the additional £435.
Apologies if this is a duplicate thread and there is a simple answer to this.
Thanks...
